Ben Leger began his career as a busboy at Catahoulas Restaurant in Grand Coteau at the age of 15.  At 19, he was named General Manager and put in charge of the restaurant’s wine list.  This is where his passion for wine really began.  At 21 Ben passed the Introductory Exam from the Court of Master Sommeliers and at 23 became Lafayette’s youngest Sommelier after passing the Court’s Certified Exam.

Ever since then, Ben’s life has been filled with a passion or food and wine.  That passion is what his newest project, MySomm, is all about.  MySomm wants to share the love and passion for food and wine with all of you and make sure that every sip you take is one you savor.

  • Already know what you want? Contact MySomm with your order and if it’s available we’ll get it for you. It’s that easy. Need a recommendation? Even better. Our Court of Master Sommeliers Certified Sommelier specializes in getting to know your palate, learning your likes and dislikes, and pairing wine with food. We like nothing better than turning our friends on to new and exciting wines.

 

  • MySomm is also be available for private events such as tastings, food and wine pairings, & educational wine classes.
